The Bays of Huatulco are located in the southern state of Oaxaca, one of the most culturally diverse regions in Mexico. It is a short 45-minute flight from Mexico City and just 35 minutes by air from Oaxaca City. Huatulco receives national & international flights from airlines such as Interjet, Aeromexico and United-Continental. During winter months, several direct charters in Canada depart from major cities, as well as direct charters from key cities in the U.S.. Due to it's unique southern position, Huatulco's climate is almost perfect, with an average daily temperature of 28 ºC (82 ºF) and almost 330 days of sunshine.
